Naloxone use

Naloxone (Narcan®) an opioid overdose drug is available in many states over the counter (without a prescription). It is becoming mandated in many states that first responders carry them. Police, fire, EMS and rehab centers are all carrying this life‐saving drug. It is the front line defense in the event of an overdose.

Unfortunately, in the United States as well as abroad, the rise of opioid overdoses has risen to an epic proportion. Overdose deaths in the U.S. have quadrupled since 1999. The drug Naloxone (Narcan®) is administered through the nose using an atomizer. In some patients one dose is sufficient, while in other cases two doses are required.

Police, fire, and EMS usually will carry two doses and are trained in responding to opioid overdose emergencies. RescueShotCase, a leader in emergency medical case manufacturing, has created a Naloxone (Narcan®) case. The case is created from neoprene and has a clear information pocket on the back. The inside of the RescueShotCase Naloxone (Narcan®) case has a stretch strap that will allow it to hold one or two doses of the medication. This great case also has an inside mesh pocket to hold gloves, cpr shields, atomizers, etc.

The RescueShotCase Naloxone (Narcan®) case is used by police, fire, EMS, as well as rehab centers, university campus security, and schools.
