Great News for Peanut Allergy / Food Allergy Baseball fans! MLB teams are once again offering peanut sensitive / peanut friendly games. We just received some updates from the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Mets about their upcoming Peanut friendly games. Here is the info, we'll try to update as they send us the information. Seating area: Cincinnati Bell Technology Pavilion Ticket Price: $30 per ticket per game
Peanut Sensitive Days are back for 2016. Seating will be in the Cincinnati Bell Technology Pavilion in center field. This is a private indoor seating area away from concession stands or regular ballpark seating.
: All tickets purchased within seven (7) days of the game will be held at Will Call.(Seating is not reserved, and is available on a first come basis. The area is set up as a party deck and not all guests will have seats.)The area will be cleaned thoroughly prior to the game including wiping down and sanitizing all hard surfaces, baseboards and furniture and detailed cleaning of the private restrooms. Additional event and janitorial staff will be on hand as well as a medic.Only those with nut sensitive allergies, their families and friends will be permitted to purchase tickets through this special offer. Nut-based products from the ballpark stands will not be permitted to be brought into the area. We would encourage those with food allergies to bring in food from home. (No glass bottles, cans or hard-sided coolers)Fans should note that peanuts will still be served in other areas of the ballpark. Please take all the precautions you would in any public place. You will also be required to sign a special waiver prior to admittance. $4 of every ticket purchased will go back to FAACT (Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Connection Team)
New York Mets
The New York Mets are also offering a Peanut Friendly Game in a Peanut Free Suite for the 2016 season. Our new date is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th at 7:10pm. We will have food and beverage built into the cost of each ticket. Tickets are not yet available but will be available for purchase through Mets.com/peanutfree in a couple of weeks. Please check this website in a few weeks as it will go live.
